Melissa ‘Splains the Classics

Melissa ‘Splains the Classics: LIVE!
Welcome to the rowdiest book club you’ve never been kicked out of — a stand-up comic’s take on classical literature, out of the podcast booth and onto the stage.
Each show, host Melissa Diaz picks one literary work from the Harvard Classics shelf: Dante, Homer, Goethe, or that Marlowe play your professor pretended to like — and tears into it with a fresh hour of stand-up. Followed by a live panel of comedians shoulder-to-shoulder with academics. It’s the seminar your tuition should’ve paid for.
Between rounds, the audience gets dragged in. Real Quote or Fan Fiction? Speed-Date the Protagonist. Stump the Scholar. Buzzers, prizes, light public humiliation.
You don’t need to have read the book. Come for the jokes, stay for the footnotes, leave smarter than your ex.
