White Elephant Book Swap

What to bring:

• ONE wrapped book. Any wrapping will do but we will not have supplies to wrap books here. Only wrapped books will be permitted for the swap.
• Yourself and maybe a friend!

What to do:

• Once you arrive (between 5 and 5:45) and check in at the bar, we will have you write 3 words on a card to attach to your book. Any three words to describe your book without giving away the title.
• At 6 pm we will draw numbers to determine order. Number 1 will go first and pick any book they want, read the three words, and open it to show everyone. Person number 2 can steal that book or open a new one. And so on. After everyone has stolen or picked a book, person number 1 will go again to finish us out.

• When do I arrive: anytime between 5 and 5:45
• How many books can I bring: please only bring 1 book. Only one book will be allowed to be swapped.
• Will there be food or drinks: We will have tons of sweets for purchase as well as coffee and espresso beverages and a full bar. No outside food or drink is permitted.
• How long will this take:it depends on how many people show up. The more people, the longer (and more fun) the swap will be. But we close at 9pm
• How much do it cost: Only $5!
• Can I purchase at the door: yes but this is a limited capacity event so it is HIGHLY recommended you buy in advance to prevent the possibility of being turned away when we hit capacity
