Monica Moser and MIZODO
March 27 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$10
TX-based artist and songwriter, Monica Moser moved to Austin from Nashville in 2021 after releasing her first projects there, performing at notable venues like Exit/In & Musicians Corner (2017), and gaining local buzz from outlets like Nashville’s Pop Ambassadors Ten out of Tenn and local radio station Lightning 100. (Her first song on the radio was the opening track of her debut EP Human Heart, “Come To You.”)
After moving to Austin, she helped start Austin Songcore which hosts showcases (in the Nashville writers round style) and fosters community for songwriters across the city. She released her sophomore album 27teen and a new dance-pop single “How Lost I’d Find Myself (without you) [the encore]” this past year. She plans to release more music (in multiple genres) in 2025.
Moser co-headlines this show with MIZODO, a new project from multi-instrumentalist and producer, Matt Graham. His music draws inspiration from his sun-soaked travels on the West Coast and abroad. His music, characterized by synth undertones, blends modern electronic elements with a lush, nostalgic soundscape. Matt released a handful of singles last year including “Contact Hight” and “Geometric Obstacles.”
