Queer To Tell: Austin is back to kick off the summer with a show all about love! Queer To Tell is a NYC born national storytelling series that features LGBTQIA+ storytellers, is hosted by a local drag/queer performance artist, and takes place at Queer-owned/affirming spaces currently across New York City and Austin. Queer To Tell: Austin will take place right in the heart of South Austin at the incredible neighboring businesses Reverie Books and Captain Quack’s.
This week’s theme – “Love is Love is Love.” It’s time for those cute, juicy, hot, heartwarming, melancholic, sweet, beautiful, queer love stories. Not just stories of finding significant others, Mr. Right Now, or the one that got away, but also finding that special group of friends, chosen family, rediscovering and falling in love with oneself; The meet cute at the coffee shop, the wild and magical night with that boy from summer camp, the lowest point of life being saved by a best friend. Anything that centers and celebrates that magical and special feeling we call love.
Seating begins at 6:30 PM. Show starts at 7:30 PM. There will be one 15 minute intermission.
This show will contain mature content. We ask that all audience members be ages 16+.
